Peace, Women and Human Rights Grand Seminar held at Kharazmi University

The video message of United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Director Dr. Maria Dotsenko was screened during “Peace, Women and Human Rights Grand Seminar”  held at Aboureyhan Hall of Kharazmi University on 26 December 2018. The seminar had been organized by the International Peace Studies Association of Afghanistan, AVA Diplomatic reports.

UNIC Reference Assistant Ms. Nazanin Ghaemmaghami delivered the text of speech of Dr. Dotsenko for the audience on the UN activities and conventions for defending women’s rights and their role regarding peace process. She also elaborated on the activities of the UNIC Tehran and invited Afghan students to follow UNIC social media.

The conference continued by speeches by Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Tehran Dr Nasser Ahmad Noor and his accompanying delegation including in Charge of Student Section of the Embassy Mr. Jamal Ansari, Cultural Attaché of Afghanistan Embassy Mr. Shafiq Sharq, writer Ms. Alieh Ataei as well as University Professors Mr. Mokhtar Heidari and Ms. Batoul Heidari. A large number of Afghan students from across Iran attended the seminar.
