Trade ties with EU promising: Iran trade official

Trade relations with the Europe are promising, the president of Tehran Chamber of Commerce said on Tuesday, AVA Diplomatic reports.

‘Switzerland can play a great role in facilitation of banking relations between Iran and Europe,’ Masoud Khansari said in a meeting with Switzerland’s Ambassador to Iran Markus Leitner.

He said that Iran is ready for development of ties with the European countries.

The Switzerland envoy, for his part, said that his country attaches importance to the development of all-out ties with the Islamic Republic.

A delegation from the Switzerland Financial Ministry will visit Iran to explore avenues for removal of obstacles in the way of banking cooperation between the two states, he added.
