Iranian Red Crescent Society and UNICEF join hands to put Child Protection at the Heart of Emergency Preparedness and Response

“We need to train our children on self-rescue in emergencies and improve their self-confidence” said Dr Habibi, Head of the Youth organization of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) at the opening session of a five-day training workshop on Child Protection in Emergencies organized jointly by IRCS and UNICEF Iran office in Tehran on 30th October. Iran’s Experts of Pediatric Medicine are trained to receive global certification on Pediatric Advanced Life Support

A group of Iran’s pediatric medicine specialists including pediatricians, pediatric emergency experts and anesthesiologists are going through a five day training course on Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) held in Tehran and facilitated by instructors from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
