Tehran, Skopje Explore Broadening Relations

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Macedonian counterpart Nikola Poposki in a meeting in New York reviewed development of bilateral ties, AVA Diplomatic reports. They reviewed development of ties including re-opening of the Slovenian embassy to Tehran and mutual support in international forums during this meeting on Tuesday. Their talks also included the Syrian crisis and refugees, cooperation to establish peace and end clashes, and Iran’s plan for the settlement of the crisis by using diplomatic and non-military means.
