Venezuelan ambassador says Tehran Int’l Book Fair is an open window to world

Venezuela’s ambassador to Iran Amenhotep Zambrano said Wednesday that Tehran International Book Fair is an open window from Iran to the world, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Zambrano said that presence of important countries such as Japan and France in this event indicates Iran’s constructive interaction with the world.

During the visit, that was Zambrano’s third visit to Tehran Book Fair within the past few years, the Venezuelan ambassador hailed massive presence of Iranian enthusiastic visitors as admirable.

Iran is a peace-seeking country that has always been seeking to promote regional stability, he said, adding that through holding Tehran Book Fair, Iran is seeking to give a boost to unity among nations.  The 28th Tehran International Book Fair opened on Tuesday and will continue until May 16. More than 2,800 foreign publishers from 65 countries are present at this event.
