The Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for a full exploitation of the current potential to bolster Tehran-Harare ties, AVA Diplomatic reports.In a meeting with the new Zimbabwean Ambassador to Tehran, Nicholas D. Kiti Kiti, the Iranian chief executive said that there is no limitation to the expansion of Iran’s ties with Zimbabwe. He continued that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s cultural and economic relations with the African state are being developed.
Pointing to the resistance of the two nations to the global bullying powers, Ahmadinejad offered Iran’s strong support for the rights, independence and development of the Zimbabwean nation.
The Zimbabwean envoy thanked Iran for its support of the Zimbabwean people, calling for Harare’s interest in the expansion of relations with Tehran in various sectors.
Referring to the strong amicable ties of the two states, D. Kitti Kitti termed enhancement of economic cooperation with Iran as Zimbabwe’s policy.
